🎯 O que vamos aprender


Comparar coisas é uma das primeiras coisas que você faz em qualquer idioma: este celular é mais caro que aquele, ela é a melhor aluna da turma. Hoje você vai dominar o comparativo (comparar 2 coisas) e o superlativo (destacar 1 entre 3+).


  • Comparativo de adjetivos curtos (-er) e longos (more)
  • Superlativo de adjetivos curtos (-est) e longos (the most)
  • Irregulares: good, bad, far
  • Comparações de igualdade: as...as
  • Frases úteis do dia a dia


    • ⚖️ Comparativo — comparando DUAS coisas


    Regra 1: Adjetivos curtos (1 sílaba) → + er + than


    
fast  → faster   → The car is FASTER THAN the bike.
old   → older    → My brother is OLDER THAN me.
big   → bigger   → São Paulo is BIGGER THAN Curitiba. (dobra consoante!)

    Regra 2: Adjetivos longos (2+ sílabas) → more + than


    
expensive → MORE expensive → The iPhone is MORE EXPENSIVE THAN the Android.
comfortable → MORE comfortable → This sofa is MORE COMFORTABLE THAN that one.

    Regra 3: Terminados em -y → troca por -ier


    
happy → happier    → She is HAPPIER than before.
easy  → easier     → This test is EASIER than the last one.

    💡 Resumo: curto = adjetivo + ER + than · longo = MORE + adjetivo + than · -y vira -ier.


    🏆 Superlativo — destacando UM entre vários


    Adjetivos curtos → the + est


    
fast  → THE FASTEST   → He is THE FASTEST runner in the team.
big   → THE BIGGEST   → Brazil is THE BIGGEST country in South America.

    Adjetivos longos → the most + adjetivo


    
expensive → THE MOST expensive → This is THE MOST EXPENSIVE hotel in the city.
beautiful → THE MOST beautiful → She has THE MOST BEAUTIFUL smile.

    -y → -iest


    
happy → THE HAPPIEST → That was THE HAPPIEST day of my life.
easy  → THE EASIEST  → This is THE EASIEST exercise.

    💡 Sempre com THE no superlativo: the + adjetivo + EST ou the MOST + adjetivo.

    🤝 Igualdade: as...as (tão...quanto)


    
This book is AS interesting AS that one.  (tão interessante quanto)
He is NOT AS tall AS his father.          (não é tão alto quanto)
She speaks English AS well AS a native.   (tão bem quanto)

    💡 Negativa: not as...as = "não tão...quanto". Muito usada em conversas!

  • E1: Complete com o comparativo: (fast) The bike is ___ than the car. · (expensive) This watch is ___ than that one. · (happy) I feel ___ today than yesterday.
  • E2: Complete com o superlativo: (tall) He's ___ person in the room. · (interesting) This is ___ book I've ever read. · (good) She's ___ student in class.
  • E3: Traduza: "Meu celular é mais barato que o seu." · "Este é o melhor filme que já vi." · "Ela é tão inteligente quanto ele."
